Today we worked on a tribute to the 215 children from the Kamloops Residential school along with Ms. Low and Mrs. Day's classes.  In our own spaces we discussed how we could send positive and caring messages in memory of the children and in comfort to their families.  In grade 3/4 we watched the video below and talked about the lyrics and what stood out to each person.  Our students were very insightful and empathetic in their responses.  Students then created an orange heart and wrote their own personal message.  Our hearts are shown facing out to the world from our class windows and in conjunction with the grade 1/2 classes, we have 215 hearts in all.  Please come by for a look if you are out for a walk this weekend!

Please remember that tomorrow there is no school due to a PD Day.

Students should bring a water bottle and hat each day to help with the heat.

Have a lovely weekend!
