It was a wet and blustery day today but we made the best of it. We went outside for our breaks and still managed to have fun.
We are excited to be finishing our book club books and beginning to plan our movie projects! Mr. Kelly has been helping us to apply the rule of thirds as well as the various types of shots we can use when filming. We practiced using the I-pads and Clips program today!
We have been working toward our Straw Bridge Challenge in Inquiry and today we started to plan and sketch our structures. We will be given 25 drinking straws, a roll of tape, and our bridge has to span a 25 cm gap. It will be 10 cm tall and must allow for a toy car to pass underneath. We had to apply what we have learned about building strong and stable structures. We saw some pretty interesting designs as we shared our thinking. Tomorrow will be building and testing day! Reminders
Mr. Kelly's class will be filming in music tomorrow and Mrs. Zwack's class will film on Wednesday.
