Happy long weekend!! 

Today was a busy day!!!

Zwack's class: wear dark colours/black on Wednesday (Nov 4) for the filming of their Remembrance Day piece. 

Here are our highlights!

1. We learned how to check out library books (Zwack). There is a photo you can check out of the steps. 

2. We had a Halloween parade with Mrs. Zwack on Google Meet.

3. We did some pumpkin activities: pumpkin problem solving with math graphing, we drew a pumpkin, and watched a bit of Hotel Transylvania!

We hope you have a fun and safe long weekend! 

If you can have a talk with you students to remind them to focus on social distancing. Masking and hand washing only work when combined with distancing. We've had many of them playing tag games, getting too rough, and some cheese touch game, we need you to help on your end!

Highlights of the day

1. We learned how to check out library books online (Kelly)
2. Learning about Cinquains (Zwack), and creating adjectives and verbs of Roz (Kelly).
3. Mapping of our path from our doors to the playground.

In efforts to maintain on community of peace, we are asking students not to wear costumes that have a violent theme (i.e., gore, blood,). Also be mindful about bringing props-we are limited for space.

2. We learned about adjectives. Adjectives describe a noun.
3. We drew our robot Roz in an action pose!

Friday's Highlights

1. We added some juicy words to our story about jumping into the pool. 
2. In art, we created Roz, the robot from our story The Wild Robot. 
3. We had our first COVID Peace Assembly through Google Meet! It was awesome and reminded us of the importance of being peaceful in our daily lives. 

Ask your students about the Peace Assembly!

Today's highlights! 

1. We worked on patterns with numbers. 

2. We put the finishing touches on our mindfulness toolbox!

3. We completed our verb section with talking about Adverbs. Adverbs are descriptor words of verbs. 

Ask your students about what adverbs they learned today!
