Friday April 9
We had a wonderful trip to the coulee today! Our mission was to take careful photographs that show the fragility of the coulee. Mr. Kelly has been teaching us about composition and the rule of thirds over the past few weeks in preparation for this assignment. We look forward to sharing our photos with you soon!
Here is a glimpse of our trip!
When we returned to the school we had a virtual visit with Saa Ko Ko To. He shared a Blackfoot Story about the coming of Spring with us.
IMPORTANT!!
During the week of April 19 - 23 we will be having an immersive Coulee School Week! We will be out of the school each day for a variety of experiences in different parts of the coulee. We will leave the school at 9:00 am each day except for Tuesday April 20.
On Tuesday, April 20 we are asking parents to drop their child off in lower Tuscany between 8:20 and 8:30. We will confirm a drop off location next week. Please mark this on your calendars so you can make a plan for this special drop off. We will be exploring the lower grasslands and the lower slopes of Tuscany that day and will work our way back to the school for regular dismissal.
Things to ensure you have ready for this special week:
-boots are necessary! Extra socks
-splash pants for over regular pants if you have them
-light gloves/mitts
-hat
-layers of clothing as the temperature will change throughout the day
-sunscreen, water bottle, lunch, snacks
We will update this information next week as we confirm our plans.
A Porta-potti is available for our use during this week !
If you were unable to view this yesterday - we will try again below!
