Highlights
1. We had a fire drill today and we did very well.
2. As a part of our science lesson today, Miss. Gooch and Mrs. Derksen created a Jeopardy game to review the concepts we have been working on. There were questions on: habitat, food, classes, and characteristics. We also worked on filling these types of details in on our animal poster.
3. Today we began doing Number Talks which help us to learn and practice using flexible math thinking. We start with some basic questions and over the next month we will begin to apply these strategies to solving more complex adding and subtracting equations.
4. Mr. Kelly's class worked on adding artifacts to their Iris page. Mr. Kelly appreciated Brody's assistance with technology!
