Today we continued representing numbers through regrouping. Students were presented with an opportunity to choose a number and represent it four different ways with base ten blocks. The challenge is to exchange or regroup hundreds for tens, tens for ones, etc.

We continued exploring maps. Students will be designing their own treasure maps. As a class we started looking at symbols for landmarks.

Tomorrow we will continue this project. Ultimately, students will become cartographers and design their own map of the creative playground.
