Friday June 11

 Friday June 11

Today we went crackers in math!!  We used square crackers to introduce area (how much space the crackers took up) and perimeter (steps walking around the edge) in a fun and creative way.  Our crackers were pretty crumbly but we enjoyed working with them.

We have been working on a June writing sample yesterday and for a bit today.  This was our chance to show our teachers what we have learned and how we could apply it!

Reminders:

All EHS Library books are due back to school.  Please check at home to see if there are any there that need to be returned Monday.

Grade 4 students have a paper notice in their backpack that parents need to read and return to school regarding participation in a specific portion of the grade 4 health curriculum.

A note from Mrs. Coulsen:

We will be hosting a virtual talent show in the last week of school so if you have talent submit a video.  We ask that videos not be longer than a minute, if they are I will be editing them shorter.  A talent can be anything that you are great at so dig deep! Of course this is totally optional but if you would like a chance to showcase what you can do please submit a video to https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1hMdt38EKYBqxckjzuXbljB3FTczpRVx9?usp=sharing NO LATER THAN… Wednesday June 16th.  Please be aware that this is a google drive folder and anyone with the link can view.  Please just upload your video there, making sure it’s appropriate, and leave the rest to us! We can’t wait to see what you come up with!!
