Today we were fortunate to see a presentation and have a live chat with some amazing young people who are a part of Earth Guardians. Something to talk about: What did you learn from the presentation today? How were you inspired by their words and actions?
We did some more work on FRACTIONS today and we are finding it pretty tricky! We have explored representing fractions in a variety of ways the past few weeks, including: number lines, fraction strips, fractions of a shape, fractions of a set, and now we are attempting to compare fractions with similar denominators. There are a number of fun games in our Google Classroom that students can play to practice what we have been working on!
Reminders
We did a math fact quiz for addition and subtraction today!! We are pleased to see some real improvement compared to where we began. We are noticing that recall of the addition facts are much better than subtraction facts so please keep practising! We will send their quizzes home on Monday!
