Celebrations
Today we worked through the modelling of how we will begin to work with Words Their Way for this year. Due to Covid restrictions, we are not able to meet in our small spelling groups so we have had to design a modified program. Tomorrow we will be sending home an email with directions for you as parents to work with your child at home for 10 minutes each evening. Your child has practiced all of the steps and if you have any questions please contact us via email.
We worked on subtraction with regrouping again today and watched this video to get a visual representation of the process. We practiced doing questions together to ensure that we knew all of the steps! subtraction with regrouping video 4th grade
Something to Talk About
Today we started a KWL chart in our visual journals to list what we think we Know about Rocks and Minerals. and some wonders/questions we had and Wanted to Know. Share you thinking with your parents this evening!
