Highlights of the day!

1. We worked on fact families on math (if we know two things, we can find out the third). 

2. Ms. Gooch and Mrs. Derksen sang a song about the brain in mindfulness!! Ms. Gooch wrote it too! We also talked about our prefrontal cortex and what we can do to exercise our prefrontal cortex. Mr. Kelly's class learned how to draw a bat (which connects to our new read aloud book: Silverwing). 

3. We played adaptation charades and learned about how animals adapt to survive in their habitats.

Reminders

1.  Peace Ambassadors will begin on Monday, November 30th. We will call down each class and show you where to sit in the gym.  At 11:40 you will return to your class to eat your lunch.
