Terry Fox Run Day!
Today we ran the Terry Fox Run at Eric Harvie school! It was great to see all grades outside running and walking to raise money for cancer research. Terry's dream is certainly alive and well and he would have been very proud of all of us! We continued to work on our Terry Fox Was a Hero sentence writing. We used a basic sentence and then expanded by adding a second sentence starting with: Once . . . Sometimes . . . If . . . When . . . to add a supporting detail.
Terry is a hero. If he were alive today I would
tell him I was proud of him.
In art Mr. Kelly worked with the students to create the Otters in The Wild Robot!

Reminders
PLEASE have your child go into their Gmail and accept their invitation to the Google Classroom!! We are still waiting for a few more children to do this. An email will be coming next week to explain how we will utilize the Google Classroom.
Photos went home today.
Grade 3 students will be starting the digital SLAs next week. The reading test will be Tuesday for Mrs Zwack's class and Wednesday for Mr. Kelly's class. We will e-mail a letter later today with more information.
