Wednesday, September 9

Today's highlights:

1.  We were so happy to see the sunshine today!  Our students were excited to have their first day on the creative playground for body break and lunch recess.

2.  We started some math art to go with our Visual Journal page on MATH WORDS.

Important Updates:

Tomorrow we will be going on a walk to the duck pond and the close part of the coulee.  Please ensure your child has a water bottle and a hand held snack for tomorrow morning.  We suggest that all students have a jacket as it starts our cold in the mornings.

PLEASE be sure to label all of your child's belongings!!  This includes masks, coats, hats, lunch kits and containers, water bottles, etc.  We are beginning to have lost and found items with no names and this makes returning things very challenging!!

Something to Talk About:

What are your routines for reading at home for this year?  If you have not started that yet, what might this look like for you at your house?  We are expecting grade 3-4 students to read at home regularly.  More on this in upcoming blogs!
